This restaurant contains two building-mounted signs. The main sign is made using flush-mounted pan channel letters with clear Lexan faces, allowing the red internal neon to be exposed upon lighting. All electrical hardware and wiring are located behind the wall. The second sign is a flag-mounted, double-faced cabinet made from custom-shaped aluminum with angle-iron framing. The identifying copy is routed out of the aluminum face and 3/4"-thick push-through Plexiglas is mounted behind the cut-outs. The sign is internally illuminated using fluorescent lamps , giving a halo-effect to the push-through letters at night.
