This is an internally illuminated freeway sign on a hi-rise steel pole, more than 50 feet tall. The faces are made from GE Lexan material with multi-colored translucent vinyl overlay. Lexan is an extremely durable polycarbonate, which resists cracking or breaking due to high winds or impacts.
